Extended Exam offerings through worldwide test centers

As a result of recent renewed agreements with Pearson Vue and Prometric, our worldwide Foundation exam services have been extended.

The global Testing Centers of both Pearson Vue and Prometric, provide on line testing services for several EXIN Foundation exams in various languages. The examination process via these Testing Centers, situated all over the world, is fully automated and the candidate will receive the result immediately after having taken the computer based multiple choice examination.

Please find below a full overview of the current computer based test offerings by:

Pearson Vue test centers:

• IT Service Management (based on ITIL®), or referred to as IT Service Management Foundation version 2, available in English, Japanese and Chinese
• ITIL® V3 Foundation in English (expected)
• ITIL® V3 Foundation Bridge in English (expected)
• ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation in English (expected in January 2008)

Prometric test centers:

• IT Service Management (based on ITIL®), or referred to as IT Service Management Foundation version 2, available in English, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, and Korean
• ITIL® V3 Foundation in English (expected)
• ITIL® V3 Foundation Bridge in English (expected)
• Microsoft Operations Framework (MOFF) in English
• ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation (expected in January 2008)

EXIN is very pleased to work together with Prometric and Pearson Vue since they are true partners providing high quality services that add value to the existing international services network. For training providers and individual candidates the benefits of these testing services are:

• These test centers provide an ideal testing service channel for the individual candidate, who may prefer self study. EXIN strongly advises all candidates to opt for accredited training, but leaves the possibility open to sit an exam without having followed accredited training at the basic, Foundation level. 
• For Training organizations, individual exam candidates, and re-takers, the test centers of Prometric and Pearson provide easy access, often nearby the candidates’ work or private address.
• For training providers, who do not possess adequate and secured testing facilities, these specialized and highly reliable testing channels provide an interesting alternative for individual candidates or small groups.
